FEES Race Fees are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable (i.e., no refunds and no transfer of race entries from a registered runner/walker to another person).
Your registration for the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon or Half Marathon is non refundable and non transferrable (cannot be transferred to another person). Those who have registered for one race may switch to the other race, based on space availability. A request to switch races must be on the “Switch Form” (download here) and accompanied by all fees for the switch to be considered. Requests to switch will be accepted by mail only, postmarked no later than Saturday, September 7, 2013. Requests for switches postmarked after September 7, 2013 will not be accepted. Registrants who wish to switch from the full marathon to the half marathon will not receive a refund. Registrants who wish to switch must submit an administrative fee of $15 at the time of the request. Registrants who wish to upgrade from the half marathon to the full marathon must pay the difference between the half marathon entry fee originally paid and the full marathon entry fee in effect at the time of the request. This amount must be submitted in addition to the administration fee with the Switch Form. Once a switch is requested and accepted, the switch is final. An email will be sent to those requesting a switch to confirm if the switch request can be accepted.
DEFERMENT POLICY Your registration for the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon or Half Marathon is non refundable and non transferrable (cannot be transferred to another person). Those who have registered for the 2013 marathon or half marathon and who are unable to participate for any reason may defer entry to the 2014 race. A request to defer to the 2014 race must be on the “Deferment Form” (download here) and accompanied by the administrative fee for the deferral to be accepted. Requests to defer will be accepted by mail only, postmarked no later than Saturday, September 7, 2013. Requests postmarked after September 7, 2013 will not be accepted. Registrants who wish to defer must submit a $25 administration fee with their Deferment Form to be accepted into the 2014 race. Once a deferment is requested, it is final. A deferment is good only for the 2014 race. Deferments may not be transferred to another person. Deferments may only be used for entry into the race originally registered for. Registrants who defers to the 2014 race will be notified in early 2014 with details on how to enter. No refunds will be made for the $25 deferment fee. |
